Stock-DAL- Delta Airlines - Best Day Trading Stock

Stock Symbol -DAL- Delta Airlines - Today’s Best Day Trading Stock

We’re selecting Delta Airlines as our next best day trading stock. The reason we are looking at airlines these next few weeks is due to the fact that earnings for airline stocks are starting as of April 15th with AMR corp. Earnings should come out on the positive side for airline stocks as their expectations have been tremendously cut. So it would be a major surprise if anything negative would come out for any of the airlines. AMR will mostlikely kick off with good earnings and give the whole sector a boost. DAL is expected to have their earnings released on April 22nd. As with the rest of the sector we expect their numbers to be good. Airlines had a major run near the end of 08 and into part of Jan 09. Stock prices went tumbling down at the end of Jan. 09. There’s been a small rally the past week but nothing major compared to the rest of the market. We expect this to change as they take center stage these next couple of weeks. So we’re making Delta Airlines and the rest of the airline sector our best day trading stock. Expect a lot of volatility in Delta shares and the range we are placing for DAL is but anywhere below $7 and look to take profit near $7.75. Adjust your price range as news are released and new levels are set. With good earnings from the rest of the sector, DAL’s stock price can be $10 in a matter of days. For these reasons, DAL is one of the best day trading stock these next few weeks. When day trading DAL, make sure you keep stops in the 8% range, especially if you are on the short side. Day trading DAL and other airlines can be very profitable if handled properly. One method I’ve used with great success if to watch the stock that are in the same sector who’s earnings are scheduled out and when things start to move in a certain direction with that stock, I will buy or sell stocks that are in the same sector. The secondary stocks almost always react the same way but there will be a hesitation period for you to step in and day trade the stock.
